The Alcazaba stands on the hill above Antequera’s old town, its Moorish walls and the Torre del Homenaje giving wide views over the town and the surrounding countryside towards El Torcal. It’s a short, steep walk up from the Real Colegiata below.
Entry is free every Tuesday from 2pm to 6pm; on other days it opens from 10am to 6pm and costs €5. Combined tickets with the Dólmenes visitor centre may be available on site.
