El Torcal is a limestone karst landscape a short drive south of Antequera, known for its strange rock formations shaped by millions of years of erosion. Several waymarked trails of varying length lead out from the visitor centre, taking in the main viewpoints.
The reserve itself is open access and free at any time, and the visitor centre — with parking, information and a café — is open daily from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
