The Menga, Viera and El Romeral dolmens are among the largest and best-preserved megalithic burial mounds in Europe, dating back over 5,000 years, and form part of the Antequera Dolmens Site UNESCO World Heritage listing. All three are within easy reach of the town centre, with Menga and Viera close together and El Romeral a short drive away.
The site is closed Mondays. Opening hours vary through the week — Tuesday to Saturday it’s open in the morning and again in the evening, Sunday mornings only — but entry is free every day it’s open.
