Torrox Traditional Crafts Exhibition

Pieces made in Torrox’s summer workshops in esparto weaving, crochet and basketry go on public display in the Plaza de la Constitución, with the makers on hand to talk through their techniques.

The workshops were set up to keep the old rural crafts alive locally, several of them tied to the materials once used in the town’s Candelaria bonfire tradition.
