This is Torremolinos’ annual thank-you to the tourists who keep its economy going: long tables set up along the seafront serve free paella, fried fish and sangría to all comers, with flamenco and other dance shows running through the day. The programme closes in the evening with an equestrian display.
It’s a civic tradition rather than a ticketed event, so expect queues at the food stalls and a busy, family-friendly atmosphere along Playamar and La Carihuela.
