Romería and Fiesta of the Santo Niño

The image of the Santo Niño is carried in procession from the Ermita del Santo Niño on the last Sunday of August, the start of Gaucín’s patron-saint celebrations. Locals and visitors walk out together, with stops for food and drink along the way.
The romería opens a run of festivities that continues through the Feria de Santo Niño in early September, giving the village two bites at its main summer party.
