La Vela de Istán

Now in its seventh edition, La Vela is Istán’s midsummer verbena — two nights of open-air music, dancing and local food and drink stalls that bring the whole village out after dark.

There’s no set programme published beyond the dates; expect the usual small-town format of live bands, a bar area and family groups staying out late in the warm August air.
