Gaucín Summer Fair (Feria de Agosto / Virgen de las Nieves)

What started as a livestock fair has grown into Gaucín’s biggest week of the year. Expect bullfighting, live bands, dancing and a fairground running late into the night at the Recinto Ferial, with the village turning out for four days straight.

It’s named for the Virgen de las Nieves, and the religious side runs alongside the party — a smaller, quieter counterpoint to the noise of the feria.
