Feria de Málaga (Málaga August Fair)

Málaga shuts down its everyday routine for nine days: the historic centre fills with music, dancing and flamenco dress by day, while the Real del Cortijo de Torres hosts fairground rides, casetas and live acts through the night. Fireworks mark the opening and several nights along the way.

The day fair is free and open to everyone wandering the old town; the night fair charges for rides and drinks inside individual casetas, though the grounds themselves are free to enter.
