Candelarias Bonfires

The Candelarias bonfires are a harvest tradition centred on fires lit at rural cortijos (farmhouses) across the Sayalonga valley. Locals and visitors gather to sing traditional songs, dance, and share food whilst the fires burn into the night—a direct continuation of folk customs that stretch back centuries.
