Ardales Slaughter Festival

Ardales celebrates the traditional matanza — the seasonal slaughter and preparation of pork that has fed the mountains for centuries. The festival offers free pork sandwiches and artisanal cured meats, with live music from 5pm. A chance to taste the real thing, done right, in the village where it happens.
